Peripheral Traction Scraper Bridge with Hydrodynamic Filtration

Peripheral Traction Scraper Bridge with Hydrodynamic Filtration

The bridge is positioned on a circular tank with a tower and central sludge evacuation pit. It finds application where the separation and removal of suspended particles in sewage by gravity and the filtration of clarified water is required.

OPERATION

The mixture of water and sludge, introduced from the central tower, is diverted by a deflecting cylinder in order to facilitate the deposition of sedimentable solids on the bottom. Special scraping blades convey the precipitated sludge into the central cone of the tank from where they are extracted by pump. A particular hydrodynamic filtration system will guarantee the treatment of the entire flow rate. The system is made with a circular ring of polyester filter panels. Inside this double filtering system there is a drainage channel where the clarified water is conveyed and will flow into a special sump.

CONSTRUCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS

– Mobile single-arm GIRDER with live load 250 kg/m2; arrow 1/500 of the span, resting in the center on a rotating steel support and at the periphery on a rotation trolley with rubber wheels;
– CENTRAL SUPPORT with thrust bearing, grease lubricated and mounted on a special fixing plate, horizontal fixing pins and support of the mobile girder;
– CENTRAL DEFLECTOR AND QUIET CYLINDER in galvanized steel, anchored to the central plate with threaded rods;
– PERIPHERAL TRACTION TROLLEY with double axle made of sheet metal, complete with cast iron wheels with polyurethane edge, shafts and wheel holders and relative supports;
– Bottom SCRAPER ARM consisting of a series of vertical tubular supports fixed to the mobile beam; at the ends of the supports there are hinged profiles on which a blade with a logarithmic spiral profile and the sliding wheels are fixed. The height of the blade is adjustable to adapt to the slope of the bottom;
– Replaceable anti-acid neoprene rubber SCRAPER PADS;
– Ring-type electrical energy distribution COLLECTOR (consisting of a central rotating collector, protected by a special plastic cap and rainproof roof);
– GEAR MOTOR coupled directly to one of the wheels of the trolley;
– Surface SCRAPER, Thompson profile, collection tray and supernatant discharge “scum-box” complete with support brackets;

STANDARD CONFIGURATION

– BEAM made of electro-welded profiles and suitably reinforced cold-bent stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized carbon steel sheet; galvanized grating walking surface, parapets and toeboards according to ISPESL standards;
– CENTRAL DEFLECTOR CYLINDER in stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized carbon steel;
– BOTTOM LOWERS and SCRAPERS in stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized carbon steel;
– Cast iron traction wheels with polyurethane edge;
– Nylon sliding WHEELS;
– FILTER PANELS in polyester with holes from 10 to 50 microns.
